This site aims to provide an introductory self-study package* for anyone interested in CORPUS LINGUISTICS. No prior knowledge is assumed and there are lots of opportunities for hands-on practice. There are also numerous links to other information/sites dealing with corpus linguistics and other areas of interest.

*This package was developed as part of a POLYU funded Learning and Teaching Development Project (Corpus Linguistics: a bridge between information technology and discourse analysis LTG98-99/DLTC/ENGL03e) and the project team is very grateful for the funding received.
