Subsidies for Students
Offshore Placement Subsidy (OPS)
The OPS provides financial support for outbound students who take on offshore placement programmes before their graduation. The OPS is operated on a shared responsibility principle and students are expected to cover part of the expenses incurred. The subsidy will apply to studentsˇ¦ accommodation, passage, insurance, visa and work permit costs. There is a deadline for application each year. Please refer to SAOˇ¦s website at http://www.polyu.edu.hk/sao/pgdp/en/apply/index.htm for more information on eligibility and application procedure.
