HOWL
aims to assist postgraduate writers working on their dissertations and theses.
HOWL contains a
variety of information on typical writing conventions and organisational principles that
are central to dissertation writing. It also has a corpus of dissertations from Applied Linguistics. The corpus enables
the reader to look for variety of language use and vocabulary use.
All graduate
students may find HOWL a useful site, especially those who are completing their graduate
studies in a language-related discipline.
So please
browse through these pages at your leisure and let us know how we can make this database
more friendly.
