The Department of English organizes all its taught Master's programmes under the umbrella of a Scheme. This is a flexible arrangement that allows us to:

• offer students a range of quality programmes to choose from

• reduce credit costs across all programmes

• present you with a wide choice of shared core and elective subjects

• provide you with opportunities for both full and part-time study

We currently have four programmes in the Scheme:

• The MA in English Language Studies (MAELS)

• The MA in English Language Teaching (MAELT)

• The MA in English for the Professions (MAEP)

• The MA in English Language Arts (MAELA)
