Entrance Requirements
First degree or equivalent.
Programme Structure
Normal programme duration is 2 years; that is, 4 semesters and part of the PolyU summer term of the first year. Teaching will normally be on Saturdays. The six compulsory subjects taught in the first year constitute a foundation of essential subject knowledge. Every subject bears 3 credits and this yields a total of 18 credits for foundation-related studies:

The first option consists of a research methods subject (3 credits) and a project (9 credits).

Option 2
The second option will be chosen by students who prefer a more structured approach to learning. Students pursuing this option will study four subjects each bearing 3 credits by selecting from the three categories of elective subjects below.
